Surgical Procedures

Since January 2019 we have been able to perform ENT surgeries under general anaesthesia for our patients. Procedures are carried out by our specialists in a private hospital together with an experienced team composed of a paediatric ENT surgeon, anaesthesiologist, operating theatre nurse and anaesthetic nurse.

We recommend 24-hour post-operative observation in hospital so that the child can recover safely in the presence of a parent or guardian. For low-risk procedures, discharge after several hours is possible subject to the attending surgeon and anaesthesiologist’s decision.

• tympanostomy with ventilation tubes
• frenulotomy
• removal of ventilation tubes under general anaesthesia
• septoplasty
• removal of preauricular appendages
