Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD)

When to suspect CAPD:

• difficulties concentrating
• problems with learning, writing, reading or foreign languages
• not understanding speech in noise or multi-speaker environments
• trouble following longer or complex verbal instructions
• frequent requests to repeat questions or statements
• episodes of apparent distraction or daydreaming
• history of chronic otitis media with effusion

We provide comprehensive diagnostics and therapy for children with CAPD using the Neuroflow Active Listening Training – the first interactive programme in Poland designed to improve higher auditory functions. Suitable for children from around 4 years of age through to teenagers.

Diagnosis performed by certified Neuroflow Provider Martyna Struk (MA) includes:

• detailed interview with the parent
• assessment of higher auditory functions
• written report of the evaluation
• summary meeting with personalised recommendations

The subsequent three-stage online therapy is tailored to each child, with in-person review at every stage to verify progress and adjust exercises.
