Neuroflow Training for Auditory Processing Disorder
Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD) causes difficulties in noisy classrooms, poorer concentration and lower academic results. At Laryngologia Białystok we combine diagnostics with the Neuroflow Active Listening Training programme.
Diagnostic stages
- Interview with parents – medical history, school challenges, previous therapy.
- Audiology tests – tympanometry, pure tone audiometry and higher-order auditory assessments.
- Feedback session – written report with recommendations and therapy plan.
Three-step therapy
Each stage lasts around 6–8 weeks and is performed partly at home. The child completes interactive tasks on a tablet or computer, while the Neuroflow provider monitors progress online. After each stage we meet on site to adjust exercises and pass additional homework to the speech therapist.
Expected benefits
- better understanding of spoken instructions in class
- improved auditory memory and attention
- more confidence in verbal communication
If you suspect CAPD, contact our reception. We will explain how to prepare for the assessment and what documents to bring.
